TDoS and HotLab cooperate on luxury cruise ships

“The collaboration between TDoS and HotLab will bring the DNA of private luxury yacht design into cruise ships, thereby facilitating the design of super luxurious and efficient cruise ships,” said Madelene Hall, CEO of Tillberg Design of Sweden. ‘At the same time, our yacht brand benefits from the commercial knowledge that we have gained from decades of experience in the cruise segment.’

HotLab joins TDoS and Italian design and shipbuilding company Thalia Marine under the Viken Group umbrella. It will retain its office and staff in Milan, Italy, with company founders Enrico Lumini and Antonio Romano remaining at the helm.

“Through the acquisition, TDoS will continue to focus on cruise ships and large yachts while further enhancing its expertise in back-of-house operations of large vessels…” added Daniel Nerhagen, yacht designer at TDoS. “We are well-versed in planning and managing large projects and routinely coordinate with a variety of experts in fields ranging from lighting to naval architecture to ensure the best possible product for end users.

‘Viken Group’s strategic coordination allows TDoS to continue our exploration and expansion of sustainable design within the simple and natural approach inherent in our Scandinavian design heritage.’
