On Thursday, the New York Post reported that the former New York Yankees thug was on a European yachting vacation.

On Friday, Page Six delivered some of the juicy details of their fun in the sun:

Alex Rodriguez was spotted sliding down a slide from a yacht with several bikini-clad women while on vacation in St. Tropez on Friday. … Rodriguez was accompanied by a crowd of beauties on board the luxurious floater. The ladies also enjoyed themselves sunbathing on the yacht deck.

The Post reported that Rodriguez is on vacation for two reasons: to celebrate his purchase of the Minnesota Timberwolves and his upcoming 46th birthday.

Spies said A-Rod was spotted having lunch with friends and family at the Splendido Mare hotel restaurant DaV Mare on Thursday in Portofino, Italy. … We hear that the former Yankees thug and his group then boarded a luxury yacht for a two-week vacation to St-Tropez and Monte Carlo as well as Ibiza. … A buddy told us that “A-Rod was in Europe for some business meetings,” and then met family and friends for the birthday cruise.

Earlier this week, the NBA Board of Governors approved the sale of the Timberwolves to Rodriguez and his business partner Marc Lore. The couple buys the team for $ 1.5 billion.
