Margaritaville at sea will depart with Margaritaville Paradise cruising from Palm Beach Harbor. The line will operate two-night cruises from Florida to Freeport, Bahamas.

“Margaritaville at Sea will be a new, exciting and fun way for guests to escape and vacation in Margaritaville,” said John Cohlan, CEO of Margaritaville, in a press release. “From oceans to lakes, Margaritaville has an organic connection with water and with Margaritaville at Sea we can bring our iconic lifestyle, resort experiences and upscale service right out to sea. We look forward to seeing guests in and in paradise. “

The new cruise line is not starting from scratch, however. It is a partnership with Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line. This line has been making fast, affordable trips to the Bahamas from Palm Beach for years. These voyages are to be continued, but under a new name and with updates for the ship.

“We are excited about this new partnership as we launch Margaritaville at Sea from the port of Palm Beach,” said Oneil Khosa, CEO of Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line who will serve as CEO of Margaritaville at Sea. We are incredibly proud of what we have built at Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line and thank our loyal customers and trading partners who have stood by us so much. We look forward to the next phase of our development, the renaming to Margaritaville at Sea. “

Part of this renaming is an update and renovation of the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line’s current ship, the Grand Classica. According to the company, the ship will have “Margaritaville’s characteristic casual-luxe design”.

5 o'clock somewhere bar
The Margaritaville Paradise is being remodeled to create a tropical ambience, like the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar.

On the ship there will be JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, Frank and Lola’s Pizzeria, the Port of Indecision Buffet and the LandShark Sports Bar. There will also be several bars (including the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar), a casino, a theater and that Enter St. Somewhere Spa. All in all, the newly named Margaritaville Paradise will include 10 decks and 658 cabins.

The first change that passengers will notice, however, will be the completely new paintwork of the ship. Gone is the basic white hull, replaced with a much more tropical appeal, including new trim colors and a large mural of a parrot soaring in the front of the ship.

Any changes to the ship must be made quickly. Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line offers cruises that can be booked through April 16, 2022. This trip returns to Palm Beach on April 18th. Margaritaville Paradise’s inaugural cruise is scheduled for April 30th. In other words, there are only 12 days left on the ship and ready for the passengers.

This renaming of the Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line marks the latest in Margaritaville’s portfolio of businesses. The name is already associated with restaurants, casinos, resort hotels and even senior citizen communities. Linking up with the lifestyle brand makes perfect sense when cruising, and from April there will certainly be a lot of fans setting out to sea.

As previously mentioned, the departures to Margaritaville Paradise begin on April 30, 2022. The trips are two-day cruises from Palm Beach to the Bahamas. Prices start at $ 169 per person.
