For now, the most important thing the Bolt EUV has to offer is its price tag. That’s because Chevy recently slashed prices on the Bolt EUV by over $6,000. The standard Bolt EUV starts at just $27,000, making it cheaper than the 2022 model year. Other than the price cut, the 2023 Bolt EUV isn’t all that different from the older model years.

It still has an electric motor that gets 200 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. This gives the Chevy good acceleration for a subcompact crossover SUV, capable of going from 0 to 60 mph in just 7 seconds. Chevy gave the car a 65 kWh battery, and thanks to the Bolt EUV’s high efficiency of 115 MPGe, the Bolt EUV has a maximum range of 247 miles. It also has a quick charge function and can reach a range of 95 miles after 30 minutes of charging.

Chevy offers two trims for the Bolt EUV. There’s the standard LT trim and then the Premier trim. There are no powertrain differences between the two, but there are differences in the features they have access to.

Corresponding Kelley Blue BookThe Premier trim has some additional luxury features such as leather seats, rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and more, including Super Cruise. It’s an option on the Premier trim while not available on the standard Bolt EUV. Premier trim starts at $32,000, and adding Super Cruise to the car costs an additional $2,200. This means that a Bolt EUV with Super Cruise will cost around $34,000.

Like other semi-autonomous self-driving technologies, Super Cruise is quite complicated. Data is key, and Super Cruise says it uses lidar map data, GPS data, cameras and more Chevy. Also, Super Cruise is only available on “compatible roads” according to GM. When the car is on one of these roads, the driver can activate Super Cruise and let the car drive itself.

But like other semi-autonomous self-driving features, it’s important to remember that Super Cruise isn’t perfect. Drivers should still pay attention to the road and be prepared to take over if something happens. Chevy even has a driver alert system that ensures drivers remain alert when Super Cruise is engaged.

The EUV also has other smart safety features

Chevy Safety Assist provides the vehicle with features such as front collision warning, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane departure warning and more. This security suite also includes ADAS, such as B. automatic high beam, which can prove useful in certain night-time driving situations. Premier trim also comes with Adaptive Cruise Control.
