Borealis’ continued presence at Liverpool Cruise Terminal has raised questions as to why the ship has remained in Liverpool since January 19.
But the luxury cruise line confirmed there were no problems with the ship or crew – and the ship is currently docked while awaiting its next voyage.
Now the ship will remain in the terminal for over two weeks as it prepares for its next scheduled cruise.
The ship will depart Liverpool on February 11 for a 16-day tour of Norway in search of the Northern Lights.
Peter Deer, Managing Director at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines said: “Earlier this month we made some changes to our cruise schedule.
“ Borealis will now spend a short time in the Port of Liverpool before setting sail on February 11th for her next scheduled cruise, ‘In Search of the Northern Lights’.”
