It has been a few months since a major cruise line announced another world cruise.
But if you’re itching to be at sea for weeks, you’re in luck: Royal Caribbean Group luxury brand Silversea Cruises has unveiled its 71-day Grand Voyage cruise itinerary, starting at $48,400.
The shipping company’s new hybrid ship Silver Nova will set sail from Fort Lauderdale around South America in January 2024…
… take passengers to 38 locations in 18 countries before returning to Florida in March 2024.
Along the way, cruise ships will see destinations like Lima, Buenos Aires, St. Kitts and Nevis, and San Juan…
… while experiencing places like an opera house in the Amazon rainforest and three days of carnival in Rio de Janeiro.
And it wouldn’t be luxury sailing without good food. Life at sea with Silversea includes dining offerings that reflect local cuisine, so you don’t have to settle for just poolside hamburgers every day.
Silversea has yet to announce full details of its new ship, but Silver Nova will be able to carry up to 728 guests with a crew-to-guest ratio of one to 1.3.

If that sounds tempting, you’re not alone. Several suites, including the largest otium suite at 1,234 square feet, already have a waitlist for the 71-day itinerary.
